There are so many actors extremely talented at dramatic roles but few can be funny and do drama. Emma is tremendously gifted because she can do both, thanks to her versatility in acting.
She is a self-taught comedian and she became a member of the Footlights troupe at Cambridge University.
Her first professional role was in the comedy “The tall guy”, in which there were funny scenes.
So we know that she easily switches from a dramatic role to a comic one.
In “Johnny English strikes again” she stars as the UK Prime Minister, playing hilarious scenes with Rowan Atkinson. In the following clip, I particularly like her funny face as she is leaving the head office 😁
