Karen Eiffel is a dry-witted writer who needs to smoke like a chimney to focus on her work. She is in the throes of writer’s block and she always seems absorbed in deep thoughts and deaf to people around her.

The main characters of her novel always end up dying and the writer’s block came at the moment she did not find a way to bring death to the protagonist.

Her desk is chock-full of paper handkerchiefs filled with shattered cigarettes and non-working lighters; her wide and empty room is often the theatre of her sudden bursts of emotions.

Stunning Emma once again!
