Lily James, Emma Thompson and Shazad Latif will star in director Shekhar Kapur‘s new romantic comedy, “What’s Love Got to Do With It?”. Kapur returns behind the camera thirteen years after “Elizabeth: The Golden Age”.
The details of the plot at the moment are top secret, but it is rumored that it’s an intercultural rom-com about love and marriage set between London and South Asia. The film will be written and produced by Jemima Khan with Nicky Kentish Barnes. Studiocanal will finance the project and handle international sales.
Filming will begin in December.
