I personally prefer the scene where Marianne, Margaret and Mrs Dashwood, all crying retire to their own rooms off the same landing and Elinor stands still with Marianne’s cup of tea in her hand, then she sits on the stairs and drinks tea.
The scene is both hilarious and desperate and I love it.
