Anthony Hopkins, 83 years old, won the best actor Oscar at the 93rd Academy Awards for his performance as an elderly man with dementia in the movie The father, directed by Florian Zeller.
It’s his second best actor victory, after that for his role as Hannibal Lecter in The Silence of the Lambs in 1994.
He had also been nominated several times for his leading roles as well as for supporting parts.
Hopkins is the oldest ever recipient of the award.
Congrats, Anthony, you’re the best! 👏👏👏🎬
